Refund policy
Returns
Our return policy lasts 28 days. If 28 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Refunds are processed at 80% of the purchase amount (payment processor fees are non-refundable).
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging.
Non-Returnable Items
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

Perishable goods (food, flowers, newspapers, magazines)

Intimate or sanitary products

Hazardous materials

Flammable liquids or gases
Additional non-returnable items:

Downloadable software products

Certain health and personal care items
Proof of Purchase
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Partial Refunds (if applicable)
Only partial refunds may be granted in these cases:

Book with obvious signs of use

CD, DVD, VHS, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened

Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email notification. We will inform you whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet:

First check your bank account again.

Contact your credit card company (processing time may vary).

Contact your bank (there is often a delay before refunds are officially posted).

Sale Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contact@rivenlael.com.
Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift at purchase, or the order was shipped to the gift giver, the refund will be sent directly to the gift giver.
Shipping Returns
To return your product, please mail it to the address provided in your return confirmation email.
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over €75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
